Khayanga Doreen Wasike 28 was on 30th October 2010 crowned Miss Commonwealth International – Africa, at a pompous Commonwealth International Cultural and Charity Evening TV-Special Showcase ceremony held in Milton Keynes, UK beating a bevy of beauties drawn from various countries to the title. Khayanga, an ICT student in London is from Webuye and started her modelling interest in Kenya making the finals of the Ford Supermodel in 2002, in a show put together by Lindsey Macintyre who launched the aborted Elite Models Kenya.
