Abraham Weramondi is the son of Kibeu; son of Sifuma; son of Yieya who died at Kisuluni; son of Monyeyi who died at Mwalie; called Kony son of Sung’oya who died at Kitale; son of Were who died at Liwa or Sengeri; son of Kiborit who died at Sibot near Kitale, son of Tachoni. It is not known where he died.

Bantunised: Abatachoni are descendent from the Abangoma (Bongomek), a Nilo-Hamitic Kalenjin tribe that has since been assimilated into the Luhya. They lived at Sibot Hill and Kitale about ten generations ago and settled in Malakisi in Bungoma about seven generations ago. They live in North Kabras, Ndivisi and parts of Kimilili and Bokoli locations and form several Luhya clans in Wanga, Marama and Bunyala. More>>>
