LOTTERY GROUP PLAYING AGREEMENT

The Name of the group: ABEINGO LOTTERY SYNDICATE. Members so far: 10

According to research, a syndicate has 1:4 chances of winning the lottery compared to the individual’s 1:1,400,000.
Rules governing membership of the syndicate:

  1. Minimum entry is 26 weeks renewable.
  2. Maximum entry is 104 weeks renewable.
  3. Each entry costs £1
  4. Members from abroad shall pay the currency conversion equivalent at prevailing at the entry point.
  5. Members may choose to play either Saturday or Wednesday or both.
  6. Each member shall provide a set of numbers which will be entered into the draw each week. A member paying £2 for instance, may provide two sets of numbers.
  7. Members may wish to vary their numbers but for administrative purposes, this will be restricted to 16-week cycles.
  8. To make running the syndicate easier, same numbers will be entered in each draw. A multi-draw allows you to play the same numbers each draw for up to sixteen draws.
  9. Members may also wish to play as many times as they choose by paying the requisite amount per entry.
  10. Winnings will be apportioned according to the number of entries per member per draw. For instance, if you played £2.00 in a winning draw, your share of the prize will be twice compared to a £1.00 player. Winnings of less than £100 will be ploughed back into the kitty and additional tickets bought using random numbers chosen by the Syndicate Manager.
  11. Members may also wish to enter the Euro Millions or the Irish Lottery. Payment rules as above.
  12. Membership of the syndicate is open only to fully paid up Abeingo Community Network members.
  13. If your subscription expires and you haven’t renewed it in time, you shall be excluded from any subsequent winnings.
  14. The rules plus a list of all members shall be given to all members and updated as new members join in a PDF format. It shall remain confidential and members may not disclose it to non members.
  15. Participation in the syndicate presupposes that members have read and understood the rules.
  16. Age restrictions apply. Players must be 16 years or over to play The National Lottery.
  17. In case of a big win, Abeingo Syndicate reserves the right to national publicity.
  18. Abeingo Community Network Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer shall sign the agreement on behalf of members. The Lottery Syndicate Manager shall countersign and so too shall an independent witness who may be any individual in public service.

  20. The Account Manager will appoint a deputy who will also be a signatory to the Syndicate account.

Duties and Responsibilities of Abeingo Syndicate Manager:

  1. Keep records of all members of the syndicate and their subscriptions in an acceptable format.
  2. Ensure tickets are bought on time either manually or electronically.
  3. Ensure safe keeping of purchased tickets.
  4. Issue a weekly update whether there is a win or not. This will be published on http://www.abeingo.org/
  5. Remind members to renew their subscription at least four weeks before expiry.
  6. The manager must write his/her name on the back of the ticket if purchasing manually.
  7. Look out for lottery results every Wednesday and Saturday.
  8. Collect winnings and apportion share of the prize pro rata.
